Still sick, still knitting, watching movies I loved as a kid to pass the day in between naps. Hook, BatB, Empire Strikes Back, James Bond, etc. This is totally one reason why I have ALL the Disney movies. For sick days. And for babysitting, because kids should see all the classics and there are some 5 year-olds out there who had never seen Robin Hood or Beauty and the Beast because of Vaulting. /ramble

Why won't this scarf ever finish?! (I say this to every scarf, BTW) But seriously scarf, be done.

You can see this is why I really don't post when I'm sick. My full ADD comes out and I have run-on or incomplete sentences. Go me! Take that, English Language! I'd like to think I'm rebelling against sentence diagrams. Those things are so Tiberius.

Day #15: The first movie you saw (in the movie theaters)

SUP GURL? You're really not so little. But ILU, you get the best songs, and even though you're a little shallow you're only 16 so it's okay. You also are played by Jodi Benson. I LOVE Jodi Benson, she's fabulous (she's also Barbie in Toy Story 2 & 3)

I was 4, my Dad was not. But he took me to see that at the movie 7 times. So he says. One day, we actually watched it in the theater three times in a row. He paid the theater for all three when we left, but he says it was because I missed parts of the movie the first two times (bathroom or something) and I insisted that I needed to see the whole thing in one go. IDK, it was our fun day together and he didn't mind seeing things multiple times.

Also, I was just busy memorizing the score and I could not get enough of it. I had to keep watching the movie because a) it was awesome, b) there was singing, and c) I was starting my lifetime long stanning of Menken and Ashman music.

That score is flawless. From the second the movie starts, it's completely transportative. Idk if that's a real word, but it suits my purpose. The music is why The Little Mermaid will always be my faves (and the fact that they're mermaids), despite Ariel being 16 and their love being a little wacky, although I will argue that, thanks to Ursula, Ariel and Eric are forced to actually get to know one another rather than rely on their first impression-omgIluvhim-s.

What scarf are you on? I've probs asked you this, but you're a Ravenclaw, right?

I hope you get well soon, bb! If you were still in your old apt I'd send you to Liquiteria for their delicious chicken noodle soup and amazing juices. But I hope you're snug as a bug and on the mend!

Top 10 Score of all time, of all time. You know exactly what's going on in the movie if you just hear the music, and that's what makes it good. The same thing would happen if you hadn't seen the movie in years, and that's what makes it great.

And the songs. ~*siiiiiiigh*~

I am, BB! I'm working on a scarf for my aunt, her birthday is next week.

Thanks lady! I actually have to go back to CA on Monday to get checked out, it got really srs bsns sick. Bleeeech. I want to knit a blanket. Or something.

BTW, I think I found the coolest knitting book ever it's called Pints and Purls, and it's rated by drink: designated driver is complicated and 4 drinks mean it's super easy. But they have some really cute patterns! Including a hangover blanket with red crosses and moonshine jugs (but I think if I change the color of the jugs from brown to pink they would totally look like teacups!)

BTW ARE YOU WATCHING WALKING DEAD? OR IS EMZ? OMG I WANT TO SCREAM AT MY TV.

And Aelphie is taking a birthday trip to Disneyland on the 5th but I don't think I can go. DDD: Otherwise I would hit you up.

Boo I wish I could apparate to where you'll be on Monday! Also that you weren't sick! That's horrible! I'm so sorry it's gotten so bad!

I will defs check out that knitting book! I'm thinking of starting an etsy shop for my knitting, called Nerdy Knits, and I'd sell scarves that are in nerdy things. So HP scarves, Doctor Who scarves, and I'd have to learn how to make that Jayne Cunning hat. Idk.

We are watching The Walking Dead and now everytime I see someone walking alone and semi-slowly in my peripheral vision I think it's a zombie. I also think we need to get a machete because we don't have enough zombie-killing tools. I do, however, have a lot of vampire-killing tools. Thanks to my knitting. But not enough for zombies. Really a katana would be ideal. Or a shaolin spear and M1 carbine.

NOOOO I WISH YOU COULD GO AND I'D GO WITH YOU ITS DECORATED FOR CHRISTMASTIME.

I know, I agree on the issues, but I really can't fault it for that. She is 16, and 16 year-olds do silly things, like think they are in love with total strangers. Even Ye Olde Teenagers.

The music is just so incredible, and I'll never get bored with it!
